Dear Parents,
We are half way through the 4th quarter. Mid quarter reports are going home this Wednesday. The format will be different because the teachers are practicing using the new on-line grading system, which we plan to have open to the parents next school year! Also today, servers from the 7th grade will come and talk to the class about becoming a server for next school year. This is a great opprotunity to get more involved in the Mass and I highly recomend it as a form server myself. This Thursay St. Mary Springs will be coming to do a presentation for the 5th-7th graders about their school. This is another exciting oppotunity to continue Catholic education into High School.

Dear Parents,
Can you believe that it is already May? Today the second missing work report for the 4th quarter is coming home. All work must be in by Friday or students will be staying in for recess and/or after school to complete the work. Midquarter ends Friday the 10th with reports going home the 15th. It has been great watching all of the students get ready for the Spring Concert. I think it will be a great show!

Dear Parents,
This week will be our final MAPs testing. We took the Reading test yesterday and will be taking the Math test Wednesday and the Language Arts test Thursday. Please help your child by encouraging them to get plenty of rest and eat a healthy breakfast. The school year is rapidly wrapping up, it is hard to believe that in just over 1 week it will be May!

Dear Parents,
This has been a busy beginning to the fourth quarter! Today the first missing work report for the 4th quarter will come home. The set up will look different because I ran them off the new grading system. Also this Friday is Grandparents day! Mass will be at 9am. Next week spring MAPs testing will begin. This is our final look at how your student is progressing.

Dear Parents,
Yesterday started the 4th quarter. Report cards for the 3rd quarter will go home on Wednesday. Today, Ms. Hilke will be coming in to talk with your students abotu Personal Safety and Abuse Prevention/Bullying. The first missing work report for the 4th quarter will go home next week Wednesday the 17th. Also this Friday the Student Council and Home and School will be hosting a Family Game Night. I hope that to see many of you there!

Dear Parents,
I hope you all had a nice Easter weekend! This is the last week of the 3rd quarter. All missing work is due tomorrow! This week we are starting Health. In 5th grade we cover, Drugs and Disease Preventiong and Community and Evironmental Health. Next week Tuesday, Ms. Hilke will be talking with our class abotu Personal Safety and Abuse Prevention/Bullying. Also next week Friday, will be a Family Game night hosted by the Student Council and Home and School, I hope to see many of you there! As always let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
